Thos morons thought your kingsnake was venomous? and it took them 3 weeks to figure out what it was? what some dumb A$$es I guess id rather be safe than sorry so im stayin away from all indigos nomater how cool they look. At least we can keep venomous here in texas:) And what kind of neighbor tells on you for having a snake! Haven't they ever heard about being a good neighbor!

: Got that right... I live in Alberta where keeping of venomous reptiles without a valid zoo permit (near impossible to get, only three ZOOs in Alberta have the require permits) I also happen to keep a typical kingsnake, which unfortunately one of my neighbors saw. Guess who knocked on my door? Fish and Wildlife.... They took away my king and kept it quarantined for three weeks. She now has mouth rot and I suspect an endoparasite as her stool is not quite the same consistency as it was before those boneheads took her.
