It was a little bit small as a hatchling when I got it, but eventually began eating well. It never got to adult size and never had a real appetite to speak of. I let a freind have it. It was near 4 years old when I had it and barely 2 feet long, but quite thick. All indigo attitude and a great pet, but breeding it would never be an issue because it would never be big enough to breed.
I don't know if the cause is genetic or incubation.
