: Tonight I put my indigos together for the first time this year. Since the male is significantly larger than the female, I usually observe their behavior for the first few minutes to make sure his intentions are good. So far tonight they seem to be glad to be together.
: The female displayed some interesting behavior that I hadn't seen before. When the male was placed in her cage and he started to follow her, she lifted her head straight up, like she was looking at the stars. It was similar looking to an alligator displaying submissiveness.
: So far the male has been a perfect gentleman and it's looking like a successful rendezvous. I check on them every few minutes to make sure that things are going well until I see they are locked up. Then I just leave them be until they are done.
: I dont know of others breeding strategies, but I plan to place the male with the female a few times a week until she rejects him. Any thoughts on that or anything else?
