hm....totally got me off gaurd.
Being a "wimpy girl animal lover" i was sorta "poor kingsnake it had no chance at all!"
But i feel better knowing it wasn't just someones sick idea of a "fun photo concept". While i'm sure things "like" this happen all the time in the wild, i think if pictures like this WERE intentional, that would be wrong. I mean you dont feed your dog cats do you?
Its a really neat picture, cant say ive seen snakes eat other snakes before...but owning kingsnakes of my own it makes me sad too. i Hope this doesnt promt any of you to get that "larger king" and have a second show down. Most likely both being huge snakes, even the winner would walk away harmed. and thats cruel.
Plus the indigo being so depleted in the wild to begin with, a "natural encounter" would be highly unlikly i'm sure.
