I reread my post and realized it came off a little argumentative. That wasn't my intent.
I'm not really comfortable labeling snakes as "Majestic" or "Dignified" or such. I feel it implies an emotional complexity that I'm not sure snakes have.
If respect is the same as the desire to avoid the toothy end of a forest cobra, then I have respect.
