If you buy your snake now from outside Nevada, you will need a federal permit. Just hold onto the permit and proof that you lived in NV when the transaction was made and you are fine.

If you buy in the state of NV and therefore do not need a permit, then just hang on to a sales receipt from NV and the proof that you lived there.

No new permit will be needed though to take the snake to AZ.
