: Temps-
: I have read high of 80 during the day with a basking spot of 100, and a low of 68-70 during the night with no basking spot. Does this sound about right? Do indigos not work with temp gradients, if so what would the low be during the day, or the high during the night?
They work fine with a heat gradient. You probably could have a basking spot of 100 and a cool spot of 70. Since the size of my cages doesn't allow for that, the thermostat is set to shut off if temps get near 80. They aren't basking when it gets that warm anyway.
: I read that a couple keepers keep them on a 12 hour light cycle. Does this sound right? Does it need to be any special type of light, like full spectrum, or would any florescent light work?
Full spectrum is not needed. 12 hours is fine for most of the year. Daylight should be shortened in the winter.
: How Arboreal are indigos? Would they prefer to have something to climb?
Not very. If you give them something to climb, they'll probably climb a little, but they dont need it.
: I read of using calcium supplement once a month. Is this a good idea, or should all the snakes meal have some calcium supplement?
I think Calcium and D3 helps. I have no good answer for how often.
