The professor of herpetology at Arizona State keeps one of these animals. I will see if I can find the particular species. Interestingly enough, my friend who is helping this professor with the phylogeny on crotalus viridis oreganus reported back to me with this information last week. My interest was peaked because I had heard of a few lizards that are parthenogenic like certain whiptails, but never a snake.
Interestin stuff!
