Eggs should be nice and white, with lots of granules on the shell. (feels like a coarse grade of sandpaper) Shortly after they have been laid, they should become firm and taught and somewhat resemble a chicken egg in shape although this is not always the case. There are two types of slugs that I have come across in breeding failures. The small yellowish bullet shaped ones or the larger, healthier slugs, which can be creamy white in color with some weak granulation that has formed. Either way they do not firm up and remain flacid to the touch. After a few days they mold and that is that, on to next year. Oh by the way, I started out with a full head of hair when I started keeping Drymarchon, now it is thining. Good luck!!
