: I live in a residential neighborhood, complete with streetlights, cars going by etc. Also, In a normal home situation, there are lights going on and off all the time, day and night.
: So...my snakes go in a room with a solid door that is always shut and windows that always stay blocked. This allows me to totally control the light that they are exposed to. ON the morning, first the room light only clicks on, later the cage lights come on, and finally the heat lamps.
: At after the "afternoon" period, the heat lamps go off, the cage lights, and finally the room light creating close to total darkness.
: It also enables me to create winter early if I like...they usually start breeding by the end of October.
