: We just put our Cribos together Monday night after a 2 month cooling period. This is the first attempt at breeding them for us. I must say it was quite a sight to behold. The 2 pair of Unicolors hooked up within 5 minutes with not to much fanfair. The pair of Yellowtails on the otherhand was a different story. I have nevr seen such an aggressive courtship! The male followed her around and vibrated his whole body in a way I never would have thought possible. After about an hour of chasing and vibrating we witnessed copuilation. They were hooked up for over an hour and a half.
: I have breed pythons before but this was a new expeiriance that I was just so happy about I thought I would share it. Does anyone know what temp. the eggs should be incubated at? Thank you
Congratulations on your breeding of Cribos. Drymarchon eggs should not be incubated at too high a temperature. I do mine at 78F. I have tried a higher temp and had kinks in the snakes. It will take longer at lower temps, about 80-90 days. good luck
Chuck
