: Robert, don't know where you got the idea you could get Indigos to be "as big as black milks" Indigos will eat several black milks at one setting!! We're talking 8' plus and about 10 times the weight of a black milk...
: BTW, if you find a pair let the rest of us know where you got 'em!!
: : Do you know of anybody out there where I can obtain legal c/b pairs?? I would love to grow some up as big as my black milks.

robert,
I have seen one black milk that hit the 6ft mark on the tape and was heavy bodied, but that is out of about 600 I have seen dureing the course of my entire lifetime. As Carl said, getting Easterns up to the size of adult black milksnakes is really no big deal. Eastern Indigos are the largest snake in this country(Next to Eastern Diamondbacks) and frankly, my smallest female is 6 ft. She is dwarfed by the male that is paired with her. If you go to indigosnakes.com there are listings for breeders. Ad Dean? said, if you live in florida, I wouldnt even bother trying, try and get yourself some nice yellowtails or mexican cribos, they are in demand also.
