: Hey all -- I was curious as to who uses cypress mulch out there and their results. I'm considering, and have used newspaper in the past 4 years in raising Easterns. Thanks much.... JK
Jerry,
I dont use cypress mulch ever. Nor do I ever use pine shaveings, they retain a lot of moisture and smell. I use newspaper on adults, paper towel on neonates and clean often. I have used a product called sani-chips with good results, small processed squares of pine. But dont use it extensively as I often feed on the cage and ingestion is common with shaveings and litter.
*cheers*
Fred
