I rather suspect that it will be followed up by someone, eventually. I am still working (slowly! this is very much a subsidiary interest) on Drymarchon systematics (much more to do in C. America!), but I am sure someone else will also do more eventually. By and large, corroboration takes time - it depends on someone deciding that this is what they want to do.
