...impeccable..Look at his home page with his publications...Very well published in major scientific herpetological journals...Years of dedication to scientific advancement of herpetological science..
This finding is not to be dismissed, despite the fact it will throw some of us into a feeding frenzy to obtain specimens, re-organize our existing thoughts on our favorites snake,etc...
It confirms my own long held belief that erebennus, rubudus, unicolor are separate from couperi at least and makes very sound argument for separation of melanurus,etc...Great stuff!!! Carl
: : Now you've opened up an enormous can of worms for us!! Will there more corroboration from additional researchers?? (Not doubting your work, just wondering...Scientist always like their work supported by automous researchers) Carl

: : : Together with two Venezuelan colleagues, I recently had the privilege of describing Drymarchon caudomaculatus, a new species of Drymarchon from Venezuela. This also involved some reclassification of the other Drymarchon taxa, with the result that I am now recognising 5 full species in the genus.
: : : The paper appeared in the Herpetological
Journal, a UK-based publication. Since this is probably not all that widely available, I have uploaded a summary of the paper onto a web page, the URL is given below.
