: Good questions Paul.
: The permits USED to be good for an entire year, but now it’s only 90 days…so…don’t apply just yet. It usually takes 6-8 weeks to process the permit applications.
: What I have been telling people is to get the paperwork, then send it in when the breeder tells you the eggs are hatching. It will take 6-8 weeks for the babies to get established anyway.
: So…if you do that, hopefully you can find out who you are buying which sex from, how many…all that stuff, and then mail in the application. By the time you get it…the babies should be about ready to go.
: You DO need permits for EACH SALE. So if you are buying from 2 breeders, you’ll need a permit for each transaction, so yes, you’ll have to fill out the paperwork twice. You may want to call Victoria when you are ready and explain that you are buying from 2 different breeders. Maybe she will allow you to just list both breeders on one application…but that would be up to her.

: From my understanding, if you get a permit for 2 snakes and then just by one that is fine…but you can’t apply for one, then buy 2.
: If you seem like you know what you are doing, are an experienced snake keeper, and have adequate caging planned for the snakes, you should not be turned down.

: Good Luck…
