: : Sorry....that SoundGarden clip has been running through my head all day.
: No problem Fred:)
: I was wondering if you've seen/gotten the latest issue of Reptiles Magazine?? They have an article dedicated to Indigos and I was wondering if you've seen it and what you thought of it? (if you don't mind my asking)
: Thanks for your time, Todd
:
: Much ado has been made about who will produce all the species of Drymarchon(The Hat trick), frankly I would be glad to just produce Easterns, ...anything else is a bonus and gravy.
: : Rubidus? Yeah, I would love that too, but I NEVER and I mean NEVER bank on any drymarchon actually produceing or eggs hatching. I used too, boy was that painfull!!lol
: : Does that mean that I dont have confidence in getting these critters to produce? nope... it just means that you NEVER can tell what will happen. Las Vegas odds baby, roll the dice:)
: : I sincerely hope that we can produce Y/T 's this year as I asm tired of all the W/C drama and flagyl controversies. It adds a really strange flavor to this forum, but thats just my opinion.
: : Well, best of luck, to all who are trying!!

Todd,
I saw the article just today. It is written by Dean Allesandri, a fellow Indigo lover. It is very well written indeed. We dont use the same methods on some things(incubation for example) but then there are many paths toward the same goal, I try to keep my mind"open" to info concerning these snakes and there upkeep.
About 8 months ago, my article on Eastern Indigos came out in Reptile&Amphibian Hobbysist magazine . It is truly GOOD to see so much information being generated on these snakes, wish there had been more available when I started with them. Dean has done some really neat studies with radio telemetry that may give us insight into this animals habits and hopefully aid us in saveing this national treasure.
Fred
