Eastern Indigo Snakes can grow to 9 ft+. I had a male years ago that taped out to 9 ft 4 inches. He was a horse!!Females seem to hover around 6 ft max, but males can and usually do get up to about 7 ft or MORE. Genetics, food supply, space all play a roll. A female I produced last year was almost 1/2 again the size of her brothers and sisters and continues to grow at an alarming rate compared to them. The 9 ft male mentioned was retired as a breeder. Just my two centavos'
