: : Sometimes when my 18 month old, 4 foot male indigo deficates, there is blood in it. He seems health and no prolapse. Any advice on what it is from or is it common?
Fecals are generally checked for parasites, but it takes a different test from a fecal to check for... dare I say it... salmonella!

: : Thanks
: This is just a guess on my part, so don't put too much in it. The Drymarchons have such a rapid metabolism, could the blood actually be that of the food item? Just wondering.
