Sounds good, I should of thought of that, because large monitors(and other large carnivorous reptiles which eat whole prey items) do well without UVB. Is there any difference in activity level with UVB? I know that I installed some zoomed powersuns on some of my other reptiles and it made a world of difference in the way they act.
