As one of the instigators of a sometimes acrimonious discussion on Flagyl, I want to state ( and I think I can speak for Carl) that it was never our intent to dictate to anyone the use or non-use of this important drug or dispense medical advice, we just wanted to bring to the attention of our fellow herpers the fact that "Clinical Trials" seem not to have been done on its toxicity to Indigos. I have in fact used it on a wc Drymarchon ( at my age, & the limited amount of successful matings, I will just not live long enough to ever get a chance at a pair of c.h. baby Yellowtails) at 40 mg/k with very good results (more anecdotal evidence). I think this kind of discussion (sans people getting angry) is one of the best uses of the forum, so thanks for everyone's two cents.
