I've heard from other sources I dont consider as reliable that eastern indigos were released in Texas in a similar project. I have seen indigos from different localities that didn't have much black on them except on the tail. Some were actually quite light colored kind of straw on the head and neck. At the Lufkin zoo they had a trio that all three snakes were jet black no traces of a pattern, (these snakes were noticeably over fed so any pattern would have been visable) brown on the snout and sides of the head. Thanks in advance.
