You guys take it easy on our Texas friend. It is very widespread "knowledge" throughout southern Texas that indigos were introduced onto the King Ranch (and elsewhere) to control rattlesnakes. The country of origin was, of course, India! It is obvious that he was making light of this very old (over 50 years) myth.
: Imported From Asia!?!? I dont know where you heard that from, but i can say for sure it isn't right. Indigos are a subspecies of the cribos of Central and South America. Defiitely not Asia. As for being the smartest snake, ive never worked with them, but ive heard theyre pretty intelligent.
