Yo Fred, you're (& others here & elsewhere) adherance to high standards is what will insure you're (relative) success! Its bad when these donkey-burrows (like Thomas Nelson!) rip-off the comparative locals, but when someone is in the Netherlands or further, they should be smart enough to pay top-dollar to someone w/ a reputation for producing & standing behind top quality, & reduce the probability of this scam to zero. I know when I finally get off my principle & allow the feds to sanction me w/ a permit...The protagonists on this forum are going to see my business! Keep on keepn on, jg
: : I am sorry to hear someone is having such a stressful unfortunate incident with bogus baby indigos.I am posting this response myself because I sold several baby Eastern Indigos this year and I will be having more available next summer, hopefully and I would NEVER even remotely consider sending anyone animals in that condition. I know the anticipation and hoops you can go through when dealing with these types of animals. Years back I was taken advantage of by more than one person I had trusted completely and it took me a while to work through the bitterness of experiencing this kind of stuff. When money takes precedence over personal and/or moral integrity I feel this is the result of what the world can offer you. Sad but true. I hope you work it out to get full satisfaction and regain trust. My objective in this relatively small ring of people involved with the Eastern Indigos is to help propogate the threatened species and provide the wonderful experience of raising and working with these magnificant animals to whoever seriously wants to get involved. If I make a few dollars while doing it, that's great but money is far less important to myself than just plain making people happy and proud of owning some of these great animals!
: Ben,
: To capitalize on another persons mistake or wrongdoing is reprehensible. Best to advertise that you will have them on the CLASSIFIEDS or contact the person via e-mail directly. This is not the proper place to advertise what you OR I "think" we will produce next season. Best of luck with your production.
: Fred
