: If the kinks are as obvious as you say they are, then I think it's impossible that the breeder didn't notice them. It takes time and effort to get these guys feeding, and chances are they were born in mid-summer. No way he could have had them and worked with them that long and not noticed the kinks. You are in a tough spot. I understand the headaches and time you went through to get them...but still, I have to agree with Fred, if the kinks are bad, I personally would want to send them back and start over.
: I'm real sorry about your luck man. You know, it would be a good idea to take some real good pics that expose the kinks. Be nice to the guy at first, but if he refuses, then you have an ace in the whole, you can post the pics and expose him if it comes down to it.

josh, you said the seller 'seemed' like a nice guy. seemed is the operative word. i'd say it seems more like he dumped inferior animals on you. if he's offering to buy them back, do it while you can and by this august you'll have 2 nice easterns. if you allow your unwarranted feelings of guilt to cloud your decision making, by this august you'll still have 2 inferior easterns and you're never going to be satisfied w/ that. down the road you'll wish you didn't fold.
