First thing, could the indigo have fit into any heat vents or under the door? If so, then we can only hope he turns up. If he cant, then there's some hope. Start in your closet. Every snake I've ever lost that has eventually been found, was in the closet.
If after you have torn your room apart looking for the snake and you still dont see him, take a bunch of single sheets of newspaper and place them on your floor covering the entire floor. Go into your snake room every couple of hours and LISTEN. If you hear paper shuffling, you should be able to locate the guy. If you dont hear him, lift up all the papers and do a visual check.
Keep the room the snake is in warmer than usual if you think he's still in there. You could put out some water too. Be patient, dont panic, and have fun finding him.
One more thing, I dont know what you use for caging, but it has to be more secure. If the door was left open on accident, then you need to put a latch on the cage door so you can have that extra step in securing the door. Good luck. dt
