He's an 8.5' TX indigo, who's liniage was Mexican from my understanding. By the way, that's Marc Frevola on the left, and my son Nick on the right...and a few brave little girls. He's the biggest I've ever seen, and a solid (not fat at all) 13 lbs.
I've heard also (Chuck Elliott per. comm) that yellow-tails can get well over 10'.

I believe he had a 9'+ FEMALE that laid something like 26 eggs in a single clutch!
