I put my males together occationally to get them all fired up to breed too. I've never left the female with them though.Males typically will always go right into combat when they are near each other.
...just make sure you keep a close watch on them and that the males are of similar size. Mine have never attempted to bite each other, but I've heard of them really doing damage.
I don't let them get too tired...just let ''em go at it for 15 min or so and then remove one male and award the other the girl !
