Cribo problem

Hoping someone can help me, recently got a large Cribo @ a local Pet shop, he has a small abrasion on his tail a few scales missing, it doesn't appear to be infected just looks a little raw, but I'm applying antibiotic ointment to it daily & keep the snake on clean paper towels.

It's eating well & defacating OK (in buckets to be exact) Just wondering if there's anything else I should be doing??
