very interesting observation, thanks for posting it. will keep it in mind for up coming season if i have any stubborn feeders. re. breeding I start at about the end of December. No problem getting the temp. to drop up here in Toronto, Canada!!!!!Copulation throught Jan. into mid Feb. then temp goes back up..How are the yellowtails doing?? How would you cycle them? Are you going to try this year. The ones here are doing well, eating about two to three rats each every 5-6 days..Hope i can pull something out of the hat this season..Contacted Chuck Elliot and he said that he treats them much like couperi as far as temp. goes..do you agree with a low drop for a tropical species.
