: I must admit I doubted that this forum would have so many folks jumping aboard and participating. Well I was wrong. I am thrilled that there are so many of us indigo nuts.
: I was also wondering when everyone stopped feeding their indigos for the winter. Mine usually refuse food around the beginning of November. The first few years, I would try to feed them. Now, I just wait until March.
: Do cribos go off feed in winter too?
: any thoughts?

They (Drymarchons) will eat in the winter but at a much slower rate. Mostly the females, although some of the males do eat regularly too. Most of mine cut back by about 75%. So if I feed them 1 rat a week in the summer, they eat 1 rat a month in the winter. Of coarse this is just to be used as an example, some eat more some less. Caution do not put live food in with your indigos in the winter! I don't recommend live food ever, but especially in the winter. I've seen some terrible injuries caused by "feeder rats" that turn it around and feed on the snakes.
