Does anyone know where specifically in Mexico the captive population of rubidus originated from? Also, how many total specimens there were in the original breeding stock? The first ones I ever remember, at least within recent history were being bred by someone in Florida but I can't remember his name. I do remember being told that the gene pool was very small.
