The first question i have, is this animal captive raised or wild caught? If it is the latter then you should leave it alone for a while so that it can settle into its new surroundings, perhaps you have already allowed this to happen..As whith neonate drymarchon you might have to resort to trying different prey items..snakes, frogs, toads, chicks etc..Try scenting the nose and head area of a rodent and offering it to the cribo..this method worked for me with a wild caught yellow tail..ratsnake musk works very well..try some fish, or even leave a tray of chicken hearts mixed with tuna fish outside the animals hide hole..again i have had success with this..leave fresh killed mice in the hide box overnite and see if it will take them this way..good luck with your problem and let me know what happens...In my experience to 30 years working with drymarchon, melanurus can be the hardest to get going if they are wild caught and i cetainly find them to be the most highly strung of the group...good luck again...dwight
