Many have tried to get the State to issue a permit for keeping ONE eastern indigo, but I have seen it given out only twice. One individual who was dumbfounded when he finally received acceptance as well as a Herp Society granted a permit for exhibition purposes. Aside from those two incidences I am unfamiliar with others granted any type of permit. I actually am going to request permits and such , both Federal and State and will document the process. Let the actions speak for themself since I see very little on this issue currently presented in this forum.
