Hi Everyone;
Well after 30 years of wanting an Eastern Indigo I got my 1st pair yesterday. I've seen a fair number of adult Indigos over the years but never a hatchling. OK so I was expecting something the size of a Russian ratsnake maybe, NOT!!! I couldn't believe the size of those babies.
It's also really nice to have a hatchling that LIKES to be handled & doesn't try to get away, bite or crap on you. I must have been downstairs like 10 times already just to watch them as tempting as it is I'm NOT picking them up every hour, I wanna give them a couple days to settle in.
It's amazing how they actually seem to come out of their hideboxes already when they sense movement, they almost put me in a trance of sorts.
Oh well I'll quit babbling, I'm sure you've heard all this before just thought I'd share, I will also post pictures @ some point.
I've been lurking on this forum for quite some time & I have posted the occasional question, I'm sure I be seeking lots of info.
Cheers
Dean
