In Reply to: An observation of some Drymarchon owners.... posted by Barry on July 29, 2001 at 18:54:52:
: I've seen many pics of Drymarchon owners who are able to take pics of their animals outside near a pool, on the grass, on the sidewalk, etc.... As drymarchon become adults, are they that calm that they don't feel the need to dash off or are the photographers just that quick? he he.... Just wondering what the adults disposition is like and if they are all about the same for the most part? Thanks for any opinions on that....
: Thanks,

Barry,
In my observations, adult Drymarchon are almost as nervous as the neonates, and, if given a chance, will definetly glide across your lawn, acros the street and into that papyrus bush in your neighbors backyard. You know the one, it is right near the KOI pond.
Basically, if the temps are high, these snakes are VERY active and takeing pics of them outside, especially on warm days can be a bit...uh exciting to say the least.
Hope this helps,
Fred
