Last year I had some problem feeders that refused to eat until after their second shed (like Dean says). They finally took their first meal after a couple of months, 6 live pinks, each.
The very first thing I would recommend to all is to try thawed pinks as some indigo babies will be good enough feeders to take them. Then try unscented live pinks, then try a bunch of unscented live pinks, then try scenting, then try goldfish, then...
