: Last Thursday my young blacktail cribo's eyes became cloudy indicating a shed. On Saturday his eyes had already cleared so I offered him a couple spare pinkies that the female refused. He ate them without hesitation. When I checked on him Monday morning he had shed and was looking for more food. I've owned many snakes but this is the first to shed in such short order and also to feed during the shedding process. I only hope the female will keep pace with the male. Paul

Don't expect her to keep up the pace. She wont grow as fast or as much. She will become an impressive snake in her own right though.
