: What are the cage designs (size, substrate,
heating, etc.) you guys are using to house your
Drymarchons?

You'll see all sorts of ideas come from this group. I think the most important things to remember are:
-Make it BIG. Something a 10' boa would like.
-Make the cage out of easy to clean products.
-Use a substrate that is easy to clean (aspen or pine shavings are fine and they can burrow into it, no cedar shavings, and newspaper is good too).
-Good ventilation.
-Secure.
-Big water dishes.
_big hide boxes.
I've made all but one of the cages for my snakes. I use melamine board (it's fine) or plywood with linoleum glued on, glass fronts (also fine).
