: I just received a pair of blacktailed cribos today. They are between 16 and 18 inches in length. The male looks quite healthy, however the female looks thin and when she is at rest the lower half of her body has numerous kinks as if her muscles are contracted. When she moves the kinks disappear but I am wondering if this is caused by her being thin or could it be more serious, such as a genetic flaw. Any opinions would be helpful. Paul

Could be lots of things. Any way you could post pictures and we might be able to make better guesses. dt
