I love indigos because of their sheer beauty. I was just in staring at Fred, who has just shed and is as radiant as ever. He's just over 5 feet - I 'rescued' him from a guy whose son had left home and left this young indigo behind and he is about years old.

Indigos are the only snakes that seem to have a 'personality' and 'intelligence' - they are active, friendly, beautiful snakes.

And one of the best things is, they are very mellow snakes and rarely bite... I have never been bitten by an indigo.

If you decide to get one, hopefully your friend has clued you in as to how much work they really are to keep healthy and happy but it really pays off!
