Since my indigo is ONLY 4 feet, I have him in a 50 gallon tank with shavings on the bottom--they enjoy burrowing in the substrate. However, it is only a matter of time--oh, I'd say by next summer, that Im going to build him a nice long wooden enclosure--a minimum of 6 feet long. Then I plan on giving my jungle carpet my old indigo's aqaurium.
