Sounds like a great snake. I don't know where you live, but you should probably be aware of the origin of your snake.
Consider the following:
1. Texas Indigos only occur in TX and in Mexico. It is not legal to remove one from either place (they are protected in TX and Mexico doesn't export herps).
2. A captive born and raised TX indigo is unlikely to be aggressive or available in a pet store for $100.
Thus it is most likely that this is a snake that was illegally collected and removed from the state of Texas.
I'm not preaching or judging, or anything like that (it is probably better that you have it than watching it die in some pet store in too small a cage and a case of mites). I just think it is something you should be aware of, particularly as you are posting this info on the internet.
