My seventh female just laid a perfect clutch. She went through her pre-egg lay shed and then nothing
happened for 3 weeks. I never once saw her go into the lay box, so I really started
to think something was wrong. I had just about given up on her. Then, 3 days ago I just looked
into her set up to check on her welfare, and I saw that she had laid a perfect clutch of 12
eggs. I was so relieved.
Yesterday I offered her a freshly killed rat and she just wolfed it down. She is a full red throat
female that I bred to a full red throat male. So I expect some spectacular offspring.
sincerely,
