Funny how different they can be - I open my cage regularly for cleaning, for perhaps a half hour at a time, and 'Fred' just cruises around in there - sticks himself a foot or so out, then backs in. Never voluntarily leaves his enclosure.

I wouldn't trust him alone though - but it is funny how different our snakes are.

He also charges the glass when I approach, mouth open, tongue hanging out, then when he finds out I'm not a rodent he huffs and hisses and goes about his business. Like many domesticated pets I find the indigos easy to 'read' as to what they are 'thinking' as well.
