In Reply to: What is a Central American Cribo Snake? posted by Chris on February 28, 2001 at 00:33:01:
: I have been looking for An Eastern indigo for sometime now with no luck.
: Every lead I get on one always seems to fall through. I have a line on a
: Central American Cribo with the same scientific name as a eastern indigo.
: I have never heard of a C.A. Cribo nor can I find any info on them. Is this
: actually another common name for an eastern indigo or something completely different?
: Please Help!
: Chris
While it could be one of several sub-species of Drymarchon ( of which the Eastern Indigo is only one) it is most likely a Blacktail Cribo, a handsome snake, brown to gray with a black tail. It make a good start to keeping these snakes.
