What I see as the problem is that there is no temperature gradient. You want a cool and warm end in the cage. 82 degrees throughout is just too warm. My guess is that the one that keeps his food down is the one with the cage closest to the floor (am I right?). Give a basking area in the mid 80's with a cool side of the cage in the mid 70's.
The babies that I have used the popping method to sex them have all had very clear hemipenes and were pretty easy to sex. If they are taking rat pup sized food now, I wouldn't try any "popping". They have muscle tone and they aren't as loose and flexible as they were soon out of the egg. Looks like you have 3 males.
: Hi,
: I have 0.0.3 CB 2000 blacktail cribos. I am new to indigos and am having problems with 2 of them. One eats rat pups with no problem, but the other two regurge after they eat. One can keep down mouse pinks, but the other one regurges almost every meal. The room temp is around 82. I have them on newspaper with a water dish in the cage. The cages stay somewhat humid. Suggestions?
: I also would like to know how to properly sex them. All three 'pop' hemipene-like structures and all probe fairly deep. I was told by the breeder I bought them from that this is normal and males supposedly probe a few scales farther than females and the females, like the males, 'pop'. Suggestions here??
: Thanks,
: -Jeff
