: Have you ever had a female lay without going through the typical "pre-lay" shed? One of female females is HUGE...and the eggs seemed to have dropped way down close to the vent...she looks like she could drop them anytime now. But has not gone through a pre-lay shed. ???

My female is in the same situation with no pre-lay shed. She's spending a lot of time in the nesting box these days too.
