I feed my female easterns VERY SMALL meals all dureing the time that they are carrying eggs up to the time that they lay them. MANY refuse food altogether, but for the ones that will accept it, I offer it. I do agree that feeding them heavy does not increase egg production, nor size of eggs. Just my 2 centsd worth. congrats on you succesfull breeding.
