: : : i agree with you, however, I use shavings as a bedding because I found that my indigo likes to tunnle through it and have a good time!
: : I have been breeding indigos for years. It doesn't get any better. You feed them once, they crap three times. I have a whole room full of Drymarchon, it is a daily struggle. I use a product called Sani-Chips. It is small enough that I can use my shop vac to suck up the mess. Then I wipe down the walls as necessary. It's not perfact but it is better than paper. With paper they crap and lay in it. With the snak-chips at leas some of it soaks in.

: Hi Everyone:
: As I said in an earlier post, Cleaning up after them is a whole different ballgame compared to most other snakes. It just keeps us, the keepers, from becoming bored. Have a Great Day!!!
That's right! Most of my friends that breed snakes (but not indigos) think I am crazy for having so many. It seems like everytime they call and ask "What are you doing?" I answer "cleaning my snakes". It never ends, and I been at it for a looooong time.
